Fairy's Song

Are you hearing the song?
Being sung quietly
Amidst the noisy throng,
Travelling so swiftly
From a place with no cars,
Only Nature and stars.

Though small is the fairy,
Almost cannot be seen
Real-life you she'll carry
To that faraway scene,
To that place of firefly,
Where they fly and float by.

After day, it is night,
But it is just as bright,
Filled with shadows and light.

'Cause of the silver moon,
Shining high in the sky
In the middle of June.
You may lie down and sigh
In the cold, evening chill
On a steep, sloping hill.
